WEEK OF OCTOBER 3rd
Happy Fall to everyone. This change in weather is certainly welomed. Here are our important announcements.
1. Team Tornado has been extended by one week. My goal is for 6th grade to have the highest participation once again. It only takes $20 to “get in the game”. Have your student bring in the money for a chance to win the class pizza party.
2. Extra Help Tutoring schedule:

3. We still need volunteers to sign up to work the Tampabay Buccaneer concession stands at Raymond James on Oct 16th. We need to have at least 20 volunteers in order to qualify. If you have questions or did not receive the information we sent out, please contact me as soon as possible at brian.bethune@tcmstornadoes.com

6TH GRADE TUTORING SCHEDULE
Morning Extra Help begins at 7:45 am. The session goes much smoother when students come with questions. Please have your student here on time.

OCTOBER LUNCH ORDERS
If you have or plan to order lunches for October, please remember the 6th grade Nature’s classroom field trip. The students will be off campus Oct. 17, 18, and 19. Those are the days sack lunches are required. If you have already placed a lunch order for one or more of those days, simply go online and change your order. You have until midnight of September 22nd to change an order. Take care.

TCMS has is saving the planet one electronic at a time!!!
If you have technology or electronics that need to be recycled (i.e., computer monitors, keyboards, CPU, speakers, etc.), you can drop them off at TCMS. Creative Recycling has agreed to supply collection bins for us to do a electronic recycling drive. It will begin Wednesday Sept. 21st and end Friday Sept. 23rd. Your equipment can be dropped off in the morning carline. We will have students ready to receive it and take it to the recycling bins. There is no need for you to leave your vehicle unattended.
Take advantage of this opportunity to clean out the office and/or garage with out-dated electronic equipment.

Art is in need of newspaper
Art classes are starting paper mache and would like any old newspaper you may have. Students may bring them to school Monday or Tuesday. As always, thanks for your support. See you at the auction!!!

Many of you have received this post card in the mail this week. Please do not throw it out. Send it to school with your student. It is money that will be used to fund innovative lessons and projects for your student. With budget cuts and spending freezes in place, we need to take advantage of this oppotunity. I cannot stress enough the importance of sending in your post card. I thank you in advance for your support.
